What personal data we collect and why we collect it
If comments are enabled, the site will collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Comments will require you are logged in first. However, for now, user comments are not enabled.
If you leave a message through the Contact Us form on our site, it will retain that message for 3 years.
When you visit the Site, it automatically collects certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, information is collected about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. The company refers to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
The company collects Device Information using the following technologies:
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, it will collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (depends on payment method chosen, examples being credit card numbers, email address, phone number, account numbers). The company refers to this information as “Order Information.” We rely on your email address and phone number for means of communication with you for order status changes.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Blogs on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
Your shipping address information is sent to our Logistics 3PL Provider, so their warehouse can print the shipping label that is affixed to your package. The shipping address is also verified with a sales tax calculation service hosted by WooCommerce. Beyond that, we do not have any agreements to share data with any 3rd parties.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
